Someone recently stole the radio (Aftermaket) out of my friends car, I said I would install another one for him but that  S.O.B (The Thief)  did a number on the wires; I was able to identifie some of the wires but not all.

so does anyone know where I can find the color scheme for the factory radio harness????

If it's a situation where it's an on-the-road vehicle as opposed to a 4x4, or you're not pulling huge SPL numbers and have to worry about serious vibration, soldering them is pretty much a waste of time and resources(as long as you have good connectors and a really good pair of crimpers).

 I'm a crimper, I have yet to have a problem. Some people like to solder them.

haven't had a chance to use one yet some guys I've talked to think it the best thing since sliced bread and others don't like it at all I usually use a corded gun unless on outside my shop where I can't get a cord to reach then I use a mac tools butane solder iron. best one I've tried sofar had snap on one that sucked only lasted about a month. the mac one i've had for alittle over 2 years now haven't has any problems with it so far knock on wood
