I'm wondering if this setup would work out alright, wihtout damaging the subs, amp, or anything else?

2 RE 12" subwoofers
- dual 4 ohm
- 175w RMS, 250W peak.

Kicker KX 600.1 600w x1 at 2 ohms

a dual 4 hom subwoofer load in a parallel wiring configuration will be a 2 ohm load on the amp. One question is when using the12v calculator, for each sub i put 4 ohm right? Either way, would using this amp be too much? Even though its only 50 watts (or so) more then reccomended, would the subs handle it? or should i consider another amp? suggestions?

thanks!

If you wire each sub for 2-ohms, you will want to connect them to this amplifier in series for a total 4-ohm load on the amp.  At 4-ohms total load you will not be in danger of overpowering the speakers or of placing too low a load on the amp.
