I was driving my car the other day and the sound simply cut off. Both of my amps turn on and so does the radio, just no sound comes out of any of it. It just happened randomly for no apparent reason.
My equipment:
HU Pioneer deh-p9300
AMPS alpine mrv-f407 and mrv-1507
pioneer gex-p900xm
2 lightning audio 1 farad capacitors

if one of the capacitors has gone bad would it cause that by drawing too much of the power away from the amps? could the rca hook ups on the radio have gotten fried somehow? i really don't even know where to start and had hopes someone could help. Thanks

check if there sound coming from the headunits speaker output i think it is the rca output i have had more than 1 pioneer headunit do that to me ive had several of them have sound coming out of the speaker outputs and not from the RCA's if the headunit is under warranty take it to were you got it and have them test it i think your problom stems from your head unit because your saying that both amps quit at the same time
