I'm fiberglassing enclousures for two tens in the corners of my trunk behind the tail lights (one sub in each).  Should I aim the subs sideways at each other or sort of diagonally towards the front?  Should they be vertically leval or aimed slightly up?

Thanks in advance, help is greatly appreciated.

I would aim them slightly towards the rear, also slightly up.        Most trunks I have found produce the best sound with subs either back or up. But not forwards

I would take jeff's advice, but every car is different so experimenting is going to be your best bet.

build some mock up boxes that are the same size your fg boxes will be and move them around untill you find the best spot. chilcott is most likley right, but if you wanted to try somthing a little more out of the ordinary this would let you hear what you final result will be and how much sound you will loose/gain from different placement. its an intresting venture as well. very educational.
