In my continuing investigation of my front left speaker problem, I am beginning to think the front left channel on my amp is bad. I hear a whine out of that speaker, but not much else. How can I tell? Do I have to get it bench tested?

it may be your preout on your head unit (unlikely) .but may want to try swithing a RCA from a good channel to the bad channel to rule out your head unit
