The knob on the amp entitled "phase" what does this do?

Do you want the simple answer or the REALLY technical answer?

OK, here's the simple answer... If it is just a switch, with 0-180 on it, when you put it in the 180 position, it is the same as unhooking your woofer leads and reversing them. That's all it does.
