Good Afternoon,

I am getting ready to buy and install a Video system in my truck to ease drive time w/ my wife and son. I have been looking around on crutchfield and CC and have not found any really good products.

I want this to be be permanent and I have no problems w/ wiring and mounting, I want a system that gives an OEM feel. I am thinking a fold down LCD (I have quad cab) where the overhead light is and just installing a deck that can play DVD, but I don't need an LCD screen on the deck since I won't watch it. But if I do that, how can I have them (in the back seats) watch regular TV as well? Does anyone have a suggestion? I am trying to keep away from the bags that go on the back seat that are portable. Thanks.

John

I have had good experiences with Rosen products. I believe they make an over head dvd player that can be ordered to match the factory interior colors.

You also may find help in the mobile video and nav forum.

you can do what dwarren suggested, or add a separate dvd player and use IR headphones....good luck...i will be doing my 2002 Ram QC soon...but i decided on doing the head rests. Later
