parts: 4ch amp, JL 6.5 inch in the front and JL 6x9 in the rear, using stock headunit.

objective: run all speakers from the amp to utilize a cleaner and crisper sound.

ive read up on a few other posts but cant find the exact info im trying to locate.  i ran all the wires from the speakers into the amp. ran the 4guage amp wire from the battery to the rear. ran the remote lead to the rear. and grounded it on the frame.  my thoughts are to get the analog to RCA converter for the front + rear channels and run RCA wires to the amp.  am i approaching this the correct way? thanks

Yes.. You will need to use two line out converters for a four channel amp. Then you should be in business. By the way...nice car!posted_image

4 channel amp has 2 sets of RCAs (4 cables).  I suggest some of the following amps, autotek, hifonics (these are the ones I like but there are others).

i have a 98 4 door accord and here's my setup pioneer DEH-P7700MP head unit. kicker 6 1/2 components in front tweeters are placed where factory tweeters are in the dash and kicker 6x9 3 way in the back deck. and 2 10 inch polks in the trunk all runing on MTX 5 channel amp plenty of power. sounds freaking loud as hell and clear. if i was u go with an after market head unit why do all that work just to use the factory head unit????? kinda point less.. it's just like adding nice speaker runing of the head unit lol

Scosche has a nice four channel line out converter (model SLC-4) that has worked nicely for me in the past. However, many amps are available with speaker level inputs, which may give you better results (or at least a cleaner looking install) than using a LOC.
