If your speaking about the remote turn on wire, you need to use a relay for the amps

Look on this page for relays https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page5.asp

Now if you were talking about just power, you would use a Distrubution block to distrubite power to the amps

Yes a relay would be smart, though i have fan 2 amps and a couple fans off of a remote wire without any problems... just not the greatest wear and tear on a deck...

I run four amplifiers and two relays off one remote lead. Amps need about 20mA to turn on, and most head units can supply about 200 to 500mA on their remote lead. Should be no problem to do three amplifiers at all...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

today i used a remote wire from a clarion marine radio. it has been turning on two amps for a while. i hooked up a third amp and just piggy backed the remote wire to it. it worked fine for a while until i cranked it. then the radio stopped working. i tested power and ground, all good. its like i smoked the radio. is this possible from overloading the remote? i also observed the radio was hot. hotter than normal operation. is this coincedence or the remote?
