im having a problem. when i turn on my radio my power light on my anp pulses. i changed my fuse and even tried runing a new remote wire but it still pulses. any ideas?

well at first i had 2 power acoustics 1200. then i cahanged the amps to shee if the problem was the same, so i put a sony xplode 800w.

OK... and the problem was the same? Finish your thought, man! If so you either have the amp(s) gain way too high, your speaker impedence load is way too low, you have a bad RCA cable between your HU and the amp(s), or you have a bad electrical system or connection, either a bad ground or an overloaded alternator/battery. Those are guesses, but if two different amps did the same thing then the amps are most likely OK just installed incorrectly. ------------- Support the12volt.com

i checked me RCA'S and my ground. but it is still doing it. do you think that its the battery? i have a yellow top. i also have a volt meter in my car and it is giving me normal power.

If you can start your car, then it's not the battery. Maybe the remote turn on lead is defective on the head unit. What kind is it?
Double check all the connections that DYohn mentioned. Make sure they are tight, and make sure the grounds are touching clean metal.

ok all connections are clean and secure. i tried to run a new remote wire from a constant to the amp instead of from the radio but it does the same thing. i have a panasonic CQ8300U head unit

What's the impedence load on the amp? How was the amp gain set? Is the subwoofer output on the HU activated? ------------- Support the12volt.com

i would go out there and check but it just started down pouring. that central florida for ya. everything was set below midrange so i dont know why it would just start doing that. i know that they are 4 ohm speakers and that i have 2 10'' speakers on each channel, and the amp is 2 channel

if you are running 2 amps off the same amp trig wire it might be that not stong enought to turn them both on but usually one will work fine and the other one wont ... it sounds like a poor grounding problem ... change the earth and make both amps go to the same earth - use a factory bolt hole and sand around it back and connect to that ( big one like 12 or 14mm if you can find one . phil
