I have a '95 Buick Century and I took a Delco stereo out of it and I put in a Pioneer DEH-11. The stereo turns on but there's no sound going to the speakers. I have hooked this stereo up before and it worked. I tried unhooking all the speaker wires and hooking it up to another speaker, but I found out that one of the speaker wires coming from the car has to be hooked up in order for it to power on. Also when I turn the car off the speakers make a popping sound.

Sounds like you may have a factory amp hidden somewhere. You need to either hook up the remote lead to it, or bypass it.

No I don't think that's the problem because I've hooked this stereo up before exactly the same way and it worked fine.

I figured out what my problem was. I had a speaker wire and the power wire mixed up.
