what colors if its blue or blue white dont worry about if it is your black wire then just sreaw the HU in to the dash becuase the metal brackes that hold the radio in the dash acts as your ground.

if that dont work then its your PYLE raido PS stay away from pyle next time

If you have used an aftermarket harness, and have made all of your connections properly, then try checking your fuses. If they are all good, then take a DMM, and check your wires at the HU to single out your problem, using the ground wire from the HU, if you have constant +12V ( yellow ) and switched +12V ( red ). then your unit is probably no good.

I connected the harness but I got some wires from the cd player that goes not connect to the harness. I got the backlighting wire and some other wire where does that go. the main power connects to the harness and the black goes to ground.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Did I say there was anything WRONG with Pyle? Sounds like a persecution complex. Do you know of something wrong with Pyle that I'm not aware of? Calm down, man posted_image Just making a joke...

(Pyle sounds like pile - as in pile of shhh - just a joke. Ya know Beavis and butthead, from MTV?)

Gawd, I hate having to explain a punchline posted_image

Pyle is a very low-end brand, one I like to call "flea-market" quality.  Thier sound quality is extremely poor, they have unacceptably high distortion and noise, and they are prone to early failure.  Plus they are one of the many brands who inflate their ratings, with "500 watt" amplifiers being actually able to produce more like 20 watts without clipping or distortion.  Hey, if it works for you, great.  But for a bit more money there are far, far better choices.

"I don't play games. I play Nakamichi and that for real yo" - Probably some japanese kid said this in the early 80's trying to sell stereo out of his trunk lol.

have you checked your fuses? have you checked with a DMM to see if there is power going to the PYLE unit? (i said pyle and unit just for you haemphyst)

make sure you check ALL fuses, sometimes the radio is tied in with other things like dome lights and horns, and if they are all good, and you test the wires with a DMM and all both power wires read voltage when they should and your ground is ok,,,,,, then pyle really lives up to their name. time for a new radio
