No sound from speakers

I need help!

I've connected a Vibe Blackbox amplifier to a Sony head unit and then connected the amp to a set of JBL 6x9's.

All the wiring seems to be in the right place and all the fuses are fine, however no sound comes out of the speakers. The light on the amp flashes. Should it be constantly on or have I wired the speakers up to the amp wrongly? Also, there are two sizes of connectors on the speakers (a smaller one and a larger one), which is + and which is -?!

try disconnecting all the speakers and see if the light flashes, then 1 by 1 connect each speaker untill it cuts out or flashes . if that happens it means you either have a dud speaker or a short inthe wiring some where re-run the cable and check if its in a door or shelf the connectors ant touching when in place... on a speaker the big connector is the + and the small one - but it should have small markings.
