i thnk im gonna by a optima batery for my new system in putting in.

i have a 2001xterra and im going to be running 2 10" auduiobahns 1000eu subs. with a us acoustics usx-8000d digital amp. and a 1 farad cap. now im runnig off the stock altenator and 1 of the optioma batteries but i dont know which i should get yellow to[, red top, or blue top.

any suggestions is the eletrical ok. i had another system be fore im putting this in and i twas fine but i was a lot smaller amp.??

also i saw some people piant the tops. how do you do this and will it casue a fire because of the heat uder the engine

please let me know

Myself I would go with the YELLOW TOP because the OPTIMA Yellow Top batteries provide constant performance as they are discharging. Even as energy is being drained, your equipment will perform at the same level as when the battery was fully charged. Meaning, you will not hear or feel your equipment slow down or strain for power. The RED is mostly for starting and the BLUE is a high vibration model.

yeah i saw it at the car show this year . i love it. . i wish i can make mine like that

but ohw do i go about painting the top of the battery?can i do that???

The batteries aren't actually painted but rather tinted using vinyl tint (dashboard or bumber) and can be had at any parts store colored to your flavor.  It is a safe method but what about warranty afterwards?  I suggest you ask the manufacturer, go to: https://www.optimabatteries.com/
