Its not bad, but if your doing a carputer I would suggest using a Pro audio card, my fav is from M-Audio

Compare its stats agains the Audigy card and see

Also speaking from experience, the M-Audio gear is EXCELLENT stuff. I highly recommend pretty much anything from them...

Not terribly interested in multi-channel from my car stereo, but I also have had spectacular results from the the Philips Aurilium PSC805... EXCELLENT sound quality, and 24 bit support to boot! Check it out. Here's a review, and a Yahoo Search for more information on it...

x3 on the M-Audio Revolution.

For SQ, reliability and economy it should be a serious contender.

I've used one since they were first introduced and haven't looked back.
