Hello i know this is probably a stupid question but i am installing a memphis 1000d w/ 2 kicker L5 15"'s. I have a regular line level convertor from best buy that i installed after the bose amp.  I am getting a little bit of signal but not alot.  Is the convertor a problem or where i installed it??

Thanks

Matt

what LOC are you using and where did you tap into the factory system. You should be using a high quality LOC. We use Navone and SoundGate LOC's with good results.

Most BOSE systems have a factory subwoofer, so the signal to the main speakers is crossed over and does not contain much if any bass information.  You need to attach your LOC to the factory sub, not the mains speakers.

everyone is right here.  use a good loc.  make sure of the right spot to splice in to...

for some reason gm and bose teamed up to piss us off post year 1999.  it seems like the best to go right to the sub out put with bose.  or any output with deep bass not neccesserily a single sub.  dont use input wires (behind the deck) because these systems seem to use a common ground in some cases.
