hello my names aaron

i have 2 12" DVC 4ohm 400wattrms 800wattmax he2's by rockfordfosgate

and i found a couple of amps for a good price and there all rockford and i was wondering if they would be okay? like this one Rockford Fosgate Punch 601s 600 watts RMS 1800 peak or this one rockford fosgate db1500 or this one rockford fosgate 800.2

i have no idea which one would be good i was thinking maybe the rockford fosgate 800.2  i kno quite a bit of car audio but i want someone who has had more expierneced to tell me if i should get this one ive heard the 500.2 and it kicks hard so i was thinkin maybe this one should but let me know please id really appreciate it i want it to push my subs to thier max or rating but witout ruining them  thanks

the bd 1500 is to much the 800.2 will work  and you need to wire the subs in a series parralel combo wire the two coils on the subs in series and the wires from the box in parralel that will put it at 4 ohms mono  but myself i would get a amp thats 1 ohm stable  like a bd 501 if  you want to go RF

What kind of enclosure are you using? Sealed or ported?

remember the general rule of thumb is that it takes a doubling of power to gain a 3dB increase or audible difference. You might also consider a ported box.

Your subs real power, the one you should go by is 400 wrms.
So you can use that 601s bridged to get 600 watts rms to your subs.

the 800.2 will give you better results than the pioneer amp if you run the 800.2 at 2 ohms stereo you will get the most power without damaging the amp this way

what load or wat happens wen u make both subs seprate to their own channel becuz the 800a2 is a 2 channel so u make the sub ready for a 2ohm cuz its a dvc and wire it on the right and do the same to the other sub and wire it on the left? adding both channel would be a 4ohm load? cuz its 2ohm on each channel? but would u be able to get more watts like this or bridged? and if i were to bridge it only gettin 200wattx2 at 4ohms u think these he2's would bump pretty good and later on i can get some 2ohm subs to make it stable at 2ohms????

thanks

if its the power 800a2 its underrated so it will put out more power than what its rated at as far as the wireing go to www.rockfordfosgate.com and there is diagrams that show all the possable ohm loads if you wire the coils +to+  and- to-  then each sub will be at 2 ohms then run 1 off each channel of the amp and you will get about 450 RMS to each sub i have 2 15" he's and i have about 550 rms 275 to each sub and its loud i think you will be happy with the power800a2 with those subs
