I ordered my re sx's and they will be here soon posted_image
they are dual 2 ohm subs and I have 2. Are my only options to run them in 1/2 ohm or 8 ohm. I have the brutus 2005d mono amp. How can I get the amp to see 1 ohm or at least a 2 ohm load? I have 2 speaker terms on the amp if that helps.

Two DVC 2 ohm subs are wired just as Paul showed you in the diagram above, for a load of 2 ohms on the amp.  Rule:  if you don't find the wiring in a wiring diagram for the subs you have to work with, don't make up  your own way of wiring.  If it were possible, it would be shown.  Here are a couple of wiring wizards that make life easier:

Subwoofer wiring guide

Woofer wiring wizard

In cases where multiple subs are too many to be shown in a wiring guide, you can use series and parallel calculators such as the ones on this site:  https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#par

Always calculate the voice coils first, then the subs.  For example, if you hear "series/parallel", that's referring to DVC subs with coils in series and subs in parallel.  The diagram above is an example.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
