I am having a 160 amp alternator built for me. I will be putting a battery in my trunk for all my stereo / video. What is the best way to set it up so that only the battery in the trunk will discharge when the car is off and the system is going?

diodes. Really big diodes. With heatsinks....

(look for a passive isolator. Simplest, less likley to break...)
