Lately I've been getting an alternator whine noise from my rear speakers. I then purchased the PAC line noise filter. It works BUT it also took away my bass. Any idea on how to fix this? Oh yeah, if this helps, I accidentally bumped a ground wire on the chasis of the amp and it sparked and blew a fuse.

Run your power wires down one side of the car and seperate your RCA plugs by running them down the otherside of the car.  you know what I mean?  That should fix the probelm also look at the ground make sure its a good spot like there is no paint around the srew hole you are useing for the ground.

yeah I understand. I'm running a computer in the trunk so the rca is right there already. As for the ground, I sanded the paint off really good before the installation.

Just do a search for noise, you'll find plenty on this forum alone.
