Does the iPod interface CD-IB100 work with N1's that have been upgraded to N2 software?

One more question - does the iPod interface turn off your ipod when you leave the car and resume play (from the same song) when you come back?

I've used their tech support before and the guy I spoke to didn't know jack about the product except for the stuff that was ALREADY online. For all you know he was reading off stuff to me over the phone. That's why I prefer to get responses from people who have the product.
