I've been reading some about High output alternators and how most/all Don't even really start doing much of anything untill around 850-900 rpm. Correct me If I'm wrong of course just curious about this. Also Does anyone have links to some good online sites that deal with (selling/or info about) High output alternators (I've already been to a few).

I hope I posted this in the correct place. I didn't see where else it would go. I used the forum's search engine for info on Alternators but couldn't anything.

Again any & all help is appreciated.

Pretty much, that's right. You can alleviate some of this issue bu using a smaller pulley, but this may limit your maximum engine RPMs, and adds additional load to the engine...

Some on this board have had bad luck with these guys... (looks like their web page is hosted on a lot faster server now...) I, on the other hand have not. I have installed about 6 of their alternators for Hondas, (one in my own car) and have had good luck with every one. Priced about right, too... I have never found anything from Iraggi for the current Hondas, (Civics, Accords) but that may have changed. Look for him in eBay Stores.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
