Hello, I have an Avic N1 which I have the E-brake bypassed to the ground, I am having a problem though. Everytime the car is cut off and then started again the N1 comes up with the words on the screen about the E-brake wire not being connected. Can anyone help me out? Is there possible something wrong with the ground in this car? It's a 2003 Volkswagen Passat (European version). I'm thinking that I might have to possibly put a switch on the ground so when ever the car is restarted the switch can just be put off then on and then maybe the N1 will recognize the ground. Any help will be appreciated. This car is in Europe and in a country where it is not, I repeat NOT illegal to drive with a monitor in the view of the driver. Thanks again.

Pioneer figured that people would do that so they made it so if you did it would pop the error up. So just brake connection when the vehicle is started and you are good.
