well im almost done with my first fiberglass box and now that i look at the specs for my JL 12W3's the box is way smaller than it should be. about 1/2 what it should be. Is there any way to make it work. I was thinking like having one in the middle or the 2 on the outside like reverse firing. Id prefer to have the center one reverse becasue i only have 2 nice grills.

What is the size of the box?

Have any pictures of the box?

Well by looking at the box its hard to tell if you have approx 1.00-1.50 cu.ft sealed then you should be safe. it takes 2.00-3.00 cu.ft for a ported thats assuming you have the 12w3v2's. If you do invert your center sub don't forget to hook up reverse so it stays in phase with the other two or you will cancel it out.

Correct,  I would use something like the packing peanut method to see if the box has the right volume otherwise trash it and think of the experiance you got out of it. Hate to see those subs get damaged.
