I have a GM-D500M, has anyone tried to wire this amplifier or the similar 510 up at 1 ohm? I have to 4 ohm DVC subwoofers and am only putting 150 watts RMS into each because I am running them both at 8 ohms bridged into one channel for a total load of 4 ohms and I know the amp is 2 ohm stable. Are there any ideas for getting more out of this amp? If you look on pioneer's website the 500M is no longer there but the 510M is, the only difference between the two is the slope on the cross over.

I just realized that what I suggested would not work... But if any of you have any ideas of how to get more out of this amp I would like to know. I plan on selling my subs to get the SVC versions of them but I would be losing money on the deal... and no one likes doing that

Use SVC's and wire up in parallel to get the most out of the amplifier
