Subject: Pioneer Airware and the Avic N1?

I just purchased a Pioneer Airware Portable XM Radio.  I have a Pioneer Avic N1 installed in one of my cars and in my other that I use as a daily driver, I have the stock stereo head unit.  Obviously for the daily driver I'll just use the FM Transmitter and listen to the XM Radio using the transmitter and tuning to 89.7FM or whatever station I set it to.  My question has to do with the Avic N1 being an XM Ready head unit.  Even though this unit is portable, would it make sense or work out nicer if I could somehow install the XM Radio to work with my Avic N1 so I can control it through the head unit?  Anyone have any suggestions or experience?

Is there some sort of docking cradle available from Pioneer that has an IP Bus connector on it?

You could just buy a hideaway box XM unit for the N1 and add it to your subscription. Or you could use an auxilliary input adaptor on the N1's IP Bus input, and go out of the line out of the portable unit.

The Airware can't be controled by the N1 to the best of my knowledge. You would need the new GEX-P920XM if you want something that is direct connect and controlable by the headunit.
