Both amps are right around $150 and I will be using the amp to power an Infinity 1232w wired for 2ohms that needs 300w rms.

The Rockford amp is refurbished, but I don't mind that. Which one is the better amp?

personally i would get a rockford cause they are overbuilt and push out alot more power than stated in the standard specs. jbls are also good, nothing agianst them.

Audible or not, the RF's THD is disgusting.

..I'd have a hard time looking past that when evaluating those two..

Honeslty you should care about the refurbished fact. I own a RF 250A2 and like it and I'd still say go with JBL because it is new. Yes they are overbuilt when they are new, but who knows what kind of damage it sustained. Sometimes when they fix them they use parts from other amps on them, or parts which are not original which can weaken the product.
