hi, had no reply in the past post, wat wud anyone reccomend as a power rating needed to power an RE MT 12. doesnt matter about ohms or voice coils, jus a wattage figure. thnaks

What's the RMS rating of the sub?

It doesn't have one.

It looks like a nutzy sub designed for competing..

I dunno there Bigsingh... just *looking* at the sub, I'd say the thing prolly take a good 800 - 1000 watts without even breaking a sweat.  I betcha your RMS would be somewhere around  that neighborhood.. but it *really* looks like something you'd want to run by RE eh?

Yeah the MT's have no offical RMS rating by  RE since they offer no warranty on them as they are custom built, on Sound Domain there are a few post saying the can easly handle 2000+ rms with up to 8,000 on a burp
