I was surfing through Parts Express website and came across this

"This maximum performance speaker was designed and hand built in the USA by one of the oldest and most respected professional auto sound manufacturers on the West Coast."  Any idea of who makes these and if they are any good?  They said an original MSRP of $550...

Yea I've seen those on PartsExpress a few times...

The structure & cone look *alot* like an old Rockford Power series woofer.. (i dunno what RF builds now.. I've not used thier stuff in years and years) but that doesn't really mean anything.

Maybe they're unbadged for resale to other speaker makers?

I dunno man I hope we get more input.

It looks beefy as all get out ... I'd really love to hear one.

I believe they are old-style Kove Armageddons.

So, I am assuming this would not be a good choice for a nice SQ sub?
