the hu is a alpine #cda 7850 it has 2 rca preouts front/rear running the rca's to a sony xplod amp#xm-404-eqx   what i like to do is run my new amp R/F #p3001 for my subs now for the dum question how do i hook it up with no more rca outputs ? what are some thing's i can do to get it to work

get some rca splitters. you will lose the ability to fade though.

your sony might have the ability to accept one set of inputs and still utilize the third and fourth channels, but if not just use splitters from the first channel on the four channel then the second out from the deck, dedicated to the sub amp.

Does your sony amp have the ability to pass the RCAs through (like is there another set on the amp that say OUT), my sony XM1002HX does that.

run your rear output rca to the input of your RF and then run rcas from the out on the RF to the input on the Sony
