As the topic states, I have a 2005 nissan pathfinder in which I need to locate the speed wire to connect my radio to. I recently purchased the Eclipse AVN 5435 and had it installed in the Pathfinder. The installer could not locate the speedwire or didn't know which was the actual color.

I contacted Eclipse tech support and they said for the 2005 Nissan Pathfinder - Light Blue wire, pin 6 located at the Instrument Cluster. The installer tried the wire and it didn't have power.

So if anyone completed the installation of the AVN 5435 and the system work could you please tell me where and what color of the wire to connect the speed sensor for the 2005 nissan pathfiner. Thanks

In harness on back of radio

Was this the solution? Lt Blue wire in the back of the radio? Is this the Bose radio too?

No this wasn't the solution. I don't have a Boss radio. No wire in Pin 6 at all and no power on any of the Lt. blue wires. Still looking for help for 2005 Nissan without a Bose radio installed. Has anyone found another solution for the speed wire for the Pathfinder 2005 Nissan.

So I guess this is the solution for the Bose equipped cars? I found on another thread that it was. Try a google search for 2005 pathfinder vss. You'll get a few different ones. Also with my Infiniti you can order the service manual in .pdf for a day lease for like 24.95. Not sure if Nissan is the same way.
