alright, so i removed my 10" sub from my trunk, and am looking at adding two of these in an underseat application in my car. the enclosures will be vented, and im just wondering whether the vent should be on the same plane as the driver, or whether i should aim them out the front or the back of the seats. id like to get this right the first time as i will be making these out of fiberglass, and dont want to do the trial and error thing, it takes too much time.

*edit* my other option is to build a box to enclose them in the rear 6.5" speaker locations, and hide them under the factory grilles.

Yea, the port opening ought be on the same side of the box as the radiating cone.

Just make sure both the port and the woofer have a little room to breath eh?
