Originally I was wondering if I could use a resistor wired in parallel to drop the resistence of my components from 4ohms to 2. After researching, I have found this cannot be done (see I read the forums). My question is simple, is there any practical way to reduce the resistance and get more power to a set of speakers. Specifically Polk Momo 6.5" component's. Could I possibly mess around w/ the crossover, or is the whole idea just a waste of time and energy?

If you want more power get a bigger amp.

you could listen harder...seriously, although it's more expensive than a new amp, try Dynamat.
