Need to build a JL Audio system in an H2,,,was wanting to run a two amps,,,the H2's have Front Tweeters, woofers in the front doors, 2 way in rear door and 2 way in the very back. Which amps would you guys recommend? New to the JL line is why I'm asking...also want to run 1 12" Sub and other times will probably go with 2 12"...Thanks for the help,,,Was thinking of 2 4 channel amps,,,

Speakers-It depends on what line and price point you want to go with. Any of the (TR, VR, XR, ZR)650-CSI series will fit in the front [csi for separates]. They are 6.5 inch speakers. The rears are 5.25 inch. Any (TR, VR, XR) 525-CXI will fit [cxi for coaxial]. You will have to choose based on sound and of course, money. Not too sure about the very rear speakers...They may be a 4X6.
JL makes a nice box using a 12" W6v2. It sits on the left side behind the spare tire. It is color matched for the vehicle.
Amps-300/4 for the highs. 500/1 for the sub. If you want to use two 12" w6v2 woofers, you may want to get a 1000/1.

Hmm..
I'd do this a little differently, if just to save some $$$.
Try this:
For your cabin stuff, to run the entire car's cabin speakers:
https://www.jlaudio.com/amps/e6450.html
For your subwoofer.. either one it really depends on your woofer choice. (though that stealth box is nice.)
https://www.jlaudio.com/amps/e1400.html
Or
https://www.jlaudio.com/amps/e1800.html
For your sub and cabin stuff:
https://www.jlaudio.com/stealthbox/HUMRH2.html
The bottom of the page links to JL speakers that fit a Hummer.
Also.. eh I chose the e-series stuff over the slash series to recommend as the 6450 will let you run 6-channels for $350 instead of the $750 it would cost you do it with the 'slash' amps.

Thats my point! He could save it to fill the gas tank! That difference has got to be what... 3 or 4 weeks worth of fuel for that thing!
Hehe naww I was thinking about that and I think ya could do it with a 300/4 I just hadn't done a car like this in so long it didn't occur to me:
Instead of running every channel discretely .. ala' my e6450 suggestion, grab the 300/4 and wire the front 2 channels discretely, but parallel all 4 rear speakers to the rear 2 channels. That'd give ya plenty of fading and keep your fronts nice and loud.
A nice set of XR-componets up front and whatever all the way around behind. That'd sound great.

You have to shut that truck off at the gas station to let the gas pump catch up with the motor! I actually like the VR stuff better then the XR speakers if you are not overly concerned with SPL.

I've never really spent any serious listening time with XR stuff..
I have a pair of VR componets up front getting 150 watts though.. they can *completely* drown out my freakin car horn while playing *flawlessly* ..

Xr's use aluminum hard dome tweeters. I might be getting old , but they sound a little harsh for my liking. One of my guys has XR650csi's with a 450/4 along with 3 10 W3V2s with a 1000/1 in a reg cab Ranger. He'll by deaf in two years.

Love to sell you some but JLs dealer agreement doesn't allow me to sell out of my territory especially on the internet.

heck i would throw the zr's in for the front stage and a 300/2 for those(zr's are way more mellow than the xr's) i used to be die hard xr's until the zr's came along an 8w7 HO enclosure(best sounding sub/box combo i've heard in awhile) and a 250/1 for the sub you would be very impressed and suprised at what the 8w7 and 250/1 can do as i've did this in a couple of cars and it's just amazing at the overall cleanliness and loudness that this thing can do at even the lowest frequencies and vr coaxes everywhere else and run them off the head on high pass of course it all depends what kind of head unit he's gonna run(hopefully alpine or pioneer) but by going with JL you're def. heading in the right direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------- TechHead
