I have 2 JL audio 12 W6s. which amp would be the best for these subs and put out the most power and a lot of SPL.

why is it that the jl 500/1 amp is enough to power those two monster speakers

if you want to stick with JL at least the 1000/1 or 2 500/1. Other than that look into Memphis 16-ST1000D. I have one of those on 6 JL 12W0's and it slams.

Hey the reason the amps enough for those subs is the PT for them is 300watts and with two that 600 and the amps rating is 500x1@1.5 at 12.7volts now i have two compasitor and the voltage is 14.2 giving the amp around 600 to650 watts. if i would go with the 1000/1 i would blow the speakers out becase it would be too much power. i would get around 1100 to 12 hunderd watts.
