Ok couple of questions:
Does the amp have to be anchored or can you leave it so it can be moved. It will be under the seat and not sliding around but I don't have a level surface to mount it to. I may be able to anchor 1 corner of it..
Also can the speaker wire run down the same path as the rca's. I have the power seperated from the rca's.
The remote turn on for the amp, does this get connected to the continuous power wire of the Hu?
ull want to mount ur amp, to keep it from getting knocked about. atleast two screws, one in each opposite side. now you can run your speaker wire with your rca no probs. keep the power wire away. now on the back of your headunit will be a blue wire with most likely a connector, the wire is usually blue with a white stripe. now just connect the remote cable to this and your sorted.

Well, if you wanna do a shody job, you dont necesaraly have to mount it. If you drive like a nut and it slides all over and strts shorting wires and stuff, you'll have a problem. Other wise you'll just get made fun of. As far as mounting under the seat goes, I def. wouldnt recomend that. Depending on how hard you work your amp its gonna over heat and start cutting out on you. If you ever touched an amp workin over time for a while you know that you can literally fry an egg on one. Amps are designed to be mounted out in the open and some even suggest mounting it upright depending on heat sink alignment. If you really wanna go under the seat and do a good custom job (which it doesnt sound like you do), you'd have to put in fans and vents.

Don’t worry about fans under a seat, unless it’s really tight it should have plenty of air flow. A couple tricks – pull out the seat & throw a piece of MDF under the carpet & amp, then screw the amp to that. Or, and I like this, cut an “X” into the carpet under the amp, fold it under & mount the amp beneath the carpet with the heat sinks sticking up & thru – airflow & concealed wires, no screws, totally secure.
