otaye i have another question, i don't have a stereo well i do but it is a factory stereo, which i don't want to change cause it is the one that resets my oil change light, tire pressure, dome lights, etc... is all done with the stereo, i have a monte carlo 2003 to clear things up. So how do i get the voice to come through my stereo to my amp? do i cut the RCA  jacks and splice the wires to the speakers in the car, or how do i do this. i tried this out, there are four wires from the RCA jacks two red and one yellow and one white, do i hook up the red and white to one speaker and the other red and yellow to the other speaker? any help would be appreciated. Thanks Cole.

Cole - you'll have to be a LOT more specific & clear, your description makes less sense than an inflatable dartboard.

Are you tring to hook an amp up to your existing stereo or are you trying to tie another device, like a mp3 player, to your existing stereo?

exactly what i am trying to do, but my factory stereo doesn't have rca hook ups, so do i slice my rca's into the speakers wires to get the sound, and if so how do i do that exactly? Thanks Cole.

The dartboard's punctured.

Nontheless, what you need is the LOC mentioned before.  Go to any car stereo shop or order from Crutchfield.  Run speaker wires from stereo into LOC, then RCA from LOC to amp, then speaker wire from amp to speaker.

Also you don't want your subs playing anything with voices involved.
