HI!

So let´s ask this again...

What is wrong whit my connection. My avx-p7000cd dont show DVD picture (from PS2) when i connect the light green wire to the ground, but the back monitor will show picture when connected to the system..

The system works fine, it shows the Graphic interface and playes cd and the radio too, but it does nothing when trying to watch DVD??

Is the brain unit broken??

when i disconnect the light green wire the warning will show up.... u can not use this while driving!! And when hooked up to ground the 7000cd goes black, u can switch source to cd or radio and it works, but video is still black...

Please help, or my brain will be broken :) (SORRY MY ENGLISH IS BAD)

Did you hook up the brake wire because without that wire the dvd feature isn't suppose to show at all. Its suppose to be a saftey wire that grounds when you put the car in park but there is a way to bypass it. All yu have to do is ground the brake wire on to some metal and the safety feature should deactive and let you play dvds while the car is in and out park. The brake wire should be located on the brain

Yes i did hook up the brake wire. its the lightgreen wire and it comes from the brain unit!!

But still no picture to the main unit..... the screen just turns black!! But the dvd will show from the back lcd monitor when i switch it on from the main unit.... SO is the brain unit broken or is there still a chance??

Some one has written here about a switch what u use to ground the wire, and u have to ground it when u start the system and then not ground and back again and it should bypass the safety feature....

I have tried it whit out a switch just placed the wire to the ground and then raised it and the back to ground the result was No video to ondash lcd unit....

SO HELP STILL NEEDED FAST:)

what is the purpose of the light green wire, what is it sppose to do. and my brake wire on the brian is ground in a solid spot

The green wire purpose is to detect ground when applying the hand brake... it is connected to the ground!!

And no toggle switch will help to solve this problem, have tried it... so there is a big possibility that the master unit is broken?????????

And by the way the screen adjust does not work..... when trying to adjust the position, the screen goes black!!

Is there any way to solve this??

Does someone have the schema for this avm-p8000r so i could measure ít??
