The later model GM products seem to all have the same headunits, some of which are bose.

My question is:

Do these Bose headunits just have line-level outputs (similar to a preout on an aftermarket deck) or are the fully amped speaker outputs?

If i wanted to add all aftermarket amps/speakers/sub etc to the bose headunit, could i not just interface the headunits speaker outputs straight into an amplifier?

Has anyone done anything like this?

i would go to the output of the amp...not the signal out of deck....that could burn out the deck.
