I Have done several head units but they were all in older american vehicles, I'm new to the import world. But My girlfriends car a 1999 honda accord has tags on the windows saying that Audio won't work if removed, a friend said something about needing a code to remove the factory unit. Does anyone know what all is involved with removeing the factory unit and not damaging the rest of the audio system (as of right now everything is still stock).

The code referred to is for the RADIO. The radio will not work once removed, but the rest of the system will continue to function as normal. Just pull the radio, add your aftermarket head, and all will be fine.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Congrats Mr. haemphyst.  If I was a jerk I'd delete one of your posts to keep you at 999...  posted_image
