Well the USACi Season is getting close to an end and it time to start debating the setup for world finals.

We currently have 2 L7's and 2 crossfire 1000d's   best score to date is a 149.9db on the term-lab, in a honda civic coupe.   Trunk car's are not that easy to get loud haha

we need to find new subs that are dual 1 ohm subs and will handle 1100-1200 watts RMS per sub!!    Let me know if you have any suggestions.

how much are u looking to spend, i dont know, but the xxx is supposed to knock out 134db's or so from a standard tuned box, so if u can wave ur wand and make a super long port maybe they'll go loud, just a suggestion. or an MT, ohhhhhhhhhh that is a fine sub loll.posted_image The xxx will go to about 1250 rms summit like dat.

Well, I think almost every post i've made regaurding subs I have mentioned these because I think they are excelent subs by a little known, up and coming manufacturer.  They broke a dB drag record with like 177 dB.  The company is called TREO --> https://www.treoonline.com/index.html.  Anyway, i took one of there subs for a night as a loner and was super impressed!  The sub was a little out of the range of what i was looking to spend, so i went with JL, but i cried a little when I had to take it back!  : P  Their CSX is the SPL monster, 1200Wrms but its only a 2 ohm DVC and i hear not a practical sub for much else than dB but if thats your bag.  I had the SSi, sounded great.  Let e knoow if you end up checking them out.

none of these will really fit our application.    I have tried th XXX and they really need quite a big box to work well.

We need subs that will operate in the same saze enclosure as the L7...roughly 1cu-1.5cu     maybe smaller.     Again this is for SPL, so we are looking into DD,Audioque,Atomic   and a few other

they have to be dual 1 ohm coils     and have to take a beating!

Jeff,

Why dont you just contact a manufacturer and have them custom make you a pair of subs?

1-1.5 cu. and the need of dual 1 ohm coils is going to be hard to find a off the shelf product

Good luck though
