I have an MTX monoblock amp that has two distinct sets of outputs for two subs. The manual states that the second output is just (for optional second subwoofer). If I wired two 4 ohm svc subs, one to each of the outputs (+ and - each), would the resulting load still be 4 ohms to each sub? Or would the amp be seeing a 2 ohm load and effectively pushing out half the total rated power to each sub?

Connecting the subwoofers to both sets of terminals is like connecting them in parallel.
