I connected the power wire to a satelite radio reciever to the blue/red accessory wire, and the reciever shuts off when you turn off the interior fan.  Is this the incorrect accessory wire, or is there another wire I can hook it up to?

Use the BLACK/ RED wire ( IGNITION ) instead. Found in the same loom of wires that the ACC wire is found.
