Hey what is Hd radio?  If you have an hd radio hu what do you need to get this transmission.  I am getting a lot of static on my fm and was considering either going to this or an fm signal booster.

I believe HD radio is high definition radio. It is up to the satations to change over and broadcast it in HD. There will be units available soon for this technology, if not already.  Looks like Kenwood and Panasonic already have units ready.

You have to get an HD radio tuner that is compatible with yoru hu.  The Kenwood reciever is the KTC-HR100 and is about $400.
