I am looking at buying some MB Quart DKE169 6x9's. Does anybody know if these speakers are good or if the company itself is good. Im trying to decide on these or some Kicker 6x9's. My musical preference is rap/hiphop.

Can't you listen to them first? Both companies are reputable, I prefer MB Quart to Kicker though for this application.

Those are the Diskus (entry level) series right? what kickers are you comapring them to?

I am comparing them to the KICKER 05KS69 6" X 9" 2-WAY speakers.

Hard dome tweeters or soft on them? What other speakers do you have.

my bet is those Quarts aren't going to be bass biased, but if you have a sub, cross them over and you will enjoy them more than those kickers! (I would still rather have the quarts no matter what)

I have Infinity Kappas in the doors. I have fusion tweeters up front. These are pushed by a Alpine V12 amp. I have an Autotek SX275 that I wanna put on some 6x9's. And I have an old school Autotek 99 on 2 12" MA Audios. I think the kickers have a hard dome tweeter.
