If you already have figured the box dimensions, the net air space, the port size opening and length, and the box tuning..........then what are you asking?

i did not figure it out, i just copied it from ebay. i just want to know if that box is ok for the speaker, and if the port will work like that? in the back.

the box is big in my oponion, the bass will be boomy and sloppy, but your cant get much from a l7 even if your running it in a sealed box. I would just build your own box if you have the tools availible

l7's in big boxes just dont do well in my oponion. I use 12l7's and the biggest I will run them in for a street use is a .75cu ft box. I kow way below specs but they are really hard subs to get to stay clean. we use them only for SPL use but like to have something to listen to on the street as well so thats why we built the very small box. for spl we use a 3.4cuft vented enclouse for 2 subs

i have built almost everyone of those kicker spec boxes and everyone has come out very well.i can tell u the slotted boxes need to be built to tight tolerances. i built the box u are talking about for 4 jl audio 15's and it blows people away. also built a 3.75 cu ft one for a 12 l7 and it is the best sounding 12 box i've ever built. best thing to do is try. i have tried all kinds of box designs but i have stuck with sealed or kicker specs. slotted ports rule in my opinion. happy booming

SO 4.5 CU ft is good or i should make it a bit smaller?

i would build it to the exact specs kicker recommends. the 4.5 is good if u have the room. i have gotten a better sound putting the port on the same side as the speaker. not on side of box like in kicker diagram.just make sure u dont change up air space! allow for speaker and port air displacement in box also. use 3/4 mdf with plenty of bracing. and u can staple a cloth netting over port and add 1 lb of polyfiber stuffing to every cu ft or box or about 3/4 full will help sound great. ------------- rottenbellys 05 crew cab colorado.Pioneer dehp 880prs, kenwood excelon in all 4 doors. just remember that your speaker and port takes up air space. i believe they take into accout the port in specs but not speaker. i built one box and was off .45 cu ft and it sounded terribble ended up making a sealed box out of it. a good size magnet on a 15 will displace .20 or so cubic ft. doesnt sound like much but after my one experiance i started paying more attn to that. EXP: my 3 10's displace .36 cu ft
