im looking for some help with wiring my new stereo to my truck i looked for the diagram but there is one wire that they dont show its orange with black stripe and i hook it up but all i can do is put in a cd and eject it but still doesnt turn on

do you have the key in the on ? and do you have all the wires matched up from the diagram at this site

yes i do but i still get nothing but the abiably to eject the cd

Check your switched lead. Most aftermarket HUs will eject a CD with the switched lead off and just the constant on.
