Hey,

I was in the process of planning my new system when I came to a snag - what h/u should I choose? So far I have:

2 - MA Audio HK1998
1 - MA Audio HK598
1 - Alpine Type - S 6.5 Component Set
1 - Alpine Type - S 6.5 Coaxial Set
4 - MTX Thunder8000 10" SVC.

Can you believe all this cost me less than $1000! But anyway, I'm on a budget and I need a nice h/u. Nothing fancy, or overpriced. Alpine, Pioneer, or Clarion would be great. I don't want to buy a crossover and deffinately want a remote and a Aux in.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
-Mark

I'd also like to know what anyone thinks about my current system. It's not hooked up yet, but just waiting in my room.

Consider the Eclipse CD5435 as a darn fine cd player.

the system you have good setup for under $1000 for the H/U i would suggest a pioneer deh-p 770mp have evry thing you will need in a H/U and @ www.ikesound.com it can be had for $199 plus shipping whichy would be about $5
