i have a pair of fusion jona lomu 6.5" components in my car for a while now i and this switch keeps looking back at me.

i wonder if anyone could explain to me what the +3db, 0 , -3db switch on my crossover does exactly.

all i can guess is that it means i can shift the crossover point up and down 3db, resulting in a shift to the response allowing the cut off point to go up or down, or does it have something to do with half power point?

i really have no idea

thanks in advance

it probably increases or decreases the output of the tweeter, look at the manual, or try it :)
