Why don't you upgrade to a better car before you upgrade the sound system? I'm just kidding, I just couldn't resist when I seen "Sunfire" and "upgrade" in your post title. ------------- 2011 Ford F-150 Super-Crew FX4

No it will not. The speaker's require too high an RMS and the deck only puts out approx 18 w ( if that ) continuous power so the speaker's will start clipping about 1/2 volume. If you want this to sound good, buy a 4 channel amp or go to lower wattage speaker's.

If you're comparing to factory equipment, then I'd say yes. But I'd also recommend looking at some better speakers for a similar price. Even the lower-end Boston speakers all sound pretty good.

To me... I had an all stock 1990 Buick Lesabre. After I put the new HU in & component set, it's so crisp... Just, oh so, clean. It's of course bit louder too, so it will improve it, but it's all what you like.
------------- Pioneer DEH-15 HU.
Two Sony 12" P5's. (Sealed Box)
Kenwood 920watt KAC-7202.
Kenwood 350watt 6"x9" KFC-M6935ie.
Kenwood 320watt 5"x6 1/2" KFC-415c.
Sound-proof, and it's complete.
